By participating in any survey conducted by Fathom Data Labs Pte. Ltd. ("Fathom"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not proceed with the survey.
1. Purpose of the Surveys
Our surveys are conducted to collect insights on workplace trends, employer branding, talent attraction, DEI, and related topics. The data collected will be analyzed in aggregate and used to generate research reports, industry insights, and content published by Fathom.
Survey findings may be used for:

Your participation is completely voluntary and anonymous unless you choose to provide contact information.
2. Data Privacy & Compliance
We take data protection seriously and ensure compliance with:

2.1 Data Collection & Processing

Survey responses are collected anonymously unless you opt-in by providing your contact details (e.g., email address).

If you provide your email address, it will be stored separately from your survey responses and only used for the stated purpose.

No personally identifiable information (PII) is required to complete the survey unless explicitly mentioned.
2.2 Data Security & Retention

All survey data is securely stored in compliance with international data protection regulations.

We use encryption, restricted access controls, and secure third-party tools to protect your data.

Survey responses will be stored securely for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and will be permanently deleted after this period unless legally required otherwise.

By participating, you grant Fathom a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use anonymized and aggregated survey data for research, reports, and industry insights.
Collected data may be used to:

Improve Fathom’s employer branding insights

Develop strategic recommendations for organizations
Your individual responses will not be made public unless explicit consent is given.
4. Opting In for Reports & Future Research
If you choose to opt-in by providing your email, you agree to receive:

Invitations to participate in future research conducted by Fathom

5. Survey Participation & Eligibility

Surveys are open to professionals and final-year students globally, except where participation is restricted by law.

Participants must be 18 years or older.

Participation is voluntary, and there is no compensation unless explicitly stated.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the survey invitation, no financial compensation or incentive will be provided for participation. Participants acknowledge that their involvement is voluntary.

No Professional Advice: Survey findings are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice.

No Endorsement: Mention of any third-party tools, platforms, or organizations does not constitute an endorsement or partnership.
8. Force Majeure
Neither Fathom shall be held liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

Acts of God (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics)

Cyberattacks, system outages, or data breaches beyond our control

Government regulations or legal restrictions
-
Labor strikes, supply chain failures, or technological failures
If such an event occurs, we reserve the right to suspend, modify, or cancel the survey without liability.
9. Dispute Resolution
9.1 Mediation Before Litigation
In the event of a dispute arising from these Terms & Conditions, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through mediation in good faith. If mediation fails, the matter shall proceed to arbitration or litigation.
9.2 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be referred to and finally resolved by binding arbitration in Singapore in accordance with the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) Rules.

If arbitration is not feasible, the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

For participants residing outside Singapore, any disputes shall be subject to Singapore law, and participants waive any claim under the laws of their jurisdiction.
